2025 Schneider Shenanigans
Happy New Year! It’s officially 2026, so it’s time for a 2025 recap.
It was a year of changes, and it went by in the blink of an eye. After getting laid off in late 2024, Mark began a remote contracting position in March. State workers were called back to the office 50% of the time, which Cindy started doing in June after working fully remote for five years. Scott now lives in Roseville, after he and Katie went their separate ways at the end of 2024. Alloy Brewing, where Megan had worked for many years and she and Alex had built a large community of friends, closed in July.
- Four trips, Arizona, Denver (twice) and Fargo!
- Denver trips highlights included a concert at Red Rocks, Twins games at Coors Field and scenic adventures thru the Rocky Mountains and historic sites on The Oregon Trail in Nebraska.

No new states this year, but I checked off a couple of national parks, a national monument, and am planning for a couple more states in 2026. House projects included a catio, better screen doors for the garage, and we’re currently switching some bedrooms around. We have some more ambitious plans for 2026.
